Site update

Since I have been really terrible at updating the blog (but pretty good at keeping up with the facebook blog posts) I've added the widget below so that facebook cross posts to the blog.

What subterranean ant "cities" are really like



An abandoned subterranean ant colony is filled for 3 days with 10 tons of cement and excavated. The video is from the BBC's "Ants! Nature's Secret Power"
