People anywhere in the USA can send in phones for free through the mail by printing out the mailing label at www.mnzoo.org/cell and all of the proceeds benefit the Goualougo Triangle Ape Project!!!
We would really appreciate if you could help us to promote this program! Many thanks to Tara for the great initiative!
All the Best,

Of course cellphones (and other electronic devices, too) are one of the problems for forest, animal and people to begin with. So, by all means, send in your cell-phones for recycling, but you should consider buying cell-phones and other electronica based on their durability and ruggedness, rather than based on fashion. After all, recycling is not 100%. Thus if you buy products with triple lifetimes you have already done a lot. If you also recycle the few products that will then ever fail you, even better. by the way, mobile phone recycling is possible in many countries, including Germany.
